What is the best genealogy software out there?

And please, why you think it is. I'm thinking of getting a new program. I Heritage Family Tree Deluxe is my first program. However, I would like something better. One thing I would like if possible is when you create a page web that can happen 32 generations. Heritage limits only 32. What are some interesting features on yours that you enjoy? I was considering RootsMagic because it sounded good, but not beyond the 32 generations in creating a website. (Anyone know why?) Thanks. I tried several types of genealogy software. My favorite, hands down, is called "Roots Magic." It is very good at dealing with media and sources, and has lots of tools ingenious. The person who wrote that puts out very often changes and is very amenable to suggestions for new features. I know of no limitation in the generations in this program at all. I like the feature that allows me to color code all the ancestors of a particular person - that way, when you're working on a particular branch your tree, you can easily trace it back to the person, even when you're not familiar with all his ancestors, likewise, has a feature that allows you to determine the relationship of all persons in the database to any particular person, that is, if it establishes relations of my own son, I say I am his mother, that several people are his ancestors, and tells me the relationship of anyone else who is related by blood. It has standard features like being able to calculate the relationship between two people and also its role in combination is very good. Its search function is easily the best I've seen, allowing you to search in a variety of merge fields.
